| | | May 10 | The Workers' Compensation Commission held a public meeting on Thursday, May 9, 2002 at the Workers' Compensation Commission, 10 East Baltimore Street, Hearing Room 447, 4th Floor, Baltimore, Maryland 21202 to discuss proposed changes to Regulations .01 and .23 under COMAR 14.09.01, Procedural Regulations, and Regulations .01 and .02 under COMAR 14.09.06, Local Office Requirements for Insurers and Regulation .07(B)(1) under COMAR 14.09.01, Average Weekly Wage. CLICK HERE FOR MORE ON REGULATORY CHANGES | | May 3 | Effective May 3, 2002, hearing notices mailed from the Commission will identify the courtroom (#409, 411, 444, or 447) in which a Baltimore City hearing will be held. This change will affect notices for hearings after July 23, 2002 as the Commission schedules its dockets several months in advance. However, as cases are postponed, new ones are added to fill in the dockets. Beginning May 3, 2002, the courtroom number will appear on the fill-in hearing notices. Hopefully, this action will eliminate some of the confusion in the mornings in locating the appropriate courtroom. |
