| | June 26 | On May 9, 2002, an open meeting was held to adopt Regulations .07 under COMAR 14.09.01, Average Weekly Wage, .01 and .23 under COMAR 14.09.01, Procedural Regulations, and .01 and .02 under COMAR 14.09.06, Local Office Requirements for Insurers. Notice of this public meeting was given pursuant to State Government Article 10-506, Annotated Code of Maryland. The proposed Regulations are published in the June 14, 2002 issue of the Maryland Register, and a public comment period will remain open from June 14, 2002 until July 14, 2002. Written comments or questions may be forwarded to: Judith Johnston, Secretary of the Commission, 10 East Baltimore Street, Baltimore, Maryland 21202. An open meeting to take final action is scheduled for August 8, 2002 at 2:30 p.m. in Courtroom #447 on the 4th floor at 10 East Baltimore Street.

While any document presented at the information desk will be accepted, the document will only be filed in a claim if the correct form is used and the information is complete. The determination for filing will not be made at the time of submission to a Public Service staff member but will occur during initial internal processing by the Commission. Any document that is incomplete or utilizing an incorrect form will be returned by U.S. Mail. Individuals wishing to retain a date-stamped copy of a filed document may provide a copy with the original document. As a courtesy, the Commission can date-stamp the copy. Photocopies may also be requested at a cost of $1.00 per page, payable in cash only. Opposing counsel are reminded that all papers and medical reports are to be sent to the attorney of record pursuant to Rules .04 and .10. | June 7 | The Medical Fee Guide Revision Committee plans to resume monthly meetings beginning July 9, 2002 at 4:00 P.M. in the Executive Conference Room, Workers' Compensation Commission, 10 E. Baltimore Street, 7th Floor, Baltimore, Maryland 21202. The Committee is awaiting data from the Maryland Health Care Commission and expects to have the information by the end of June, 2002. In the event that the data has not been received prior to July 9, 2002, the meeting will be rescheduled to a later date and will be posted in the Committee's section of the web page:
