WCC and Maryland State Offices are closed December 25, 2002 in observance of Christmas and January 1, 2003 for New Year's Day.


December 31

The Workers' Compensation Commission is deeply saddened to announce to the community the passing of Nelson I. Newman, WCC Mail Center.  Nelson was employed by the Commission since 1974 and during his 28 years of service made many friends and acquaintances in the worker's compensation community.  He passed away at Sinai Hospital on December 7, 2002 .  Nelson will remain vividly alive in the memories of everyone who knew him.
