August 2020 Notices     Go back to Notices
We are closed Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day.
31 NOTICE - Practitioners : In an effort to make our Contact Tracing efforts more efficient, beginning immediately, the Commission will ask each attendee to use their telephone camera and scan a QR code located on counsel tables in each hearing room. The camera should automatically detect the QR code, which will take you to a Contact Tracing form. Each hearing attendee should complete this form and submit it at the start of the hearing. If you are attending multiple hearings on the same day in the same hearing location, you only need to complete the form once at the first hearing for each hearing site. Please ensure that you hit the ‘submit’ button after completing the form. The information is captured by individual and not by law firm so different attorneys from the same law firm will each need to complete the form.
26 POSTPONED All Online Services are unavailable 8am - 4pm Saturday, August 29th. The outage is due to changes and updates to the method used to submit Exhibits, Claimant's Consent to Pay Fees and Claimant's Affadavit via our subscriber Online Services site. When the updates are complete, a simpler process is available to all to submit these documents (files) to the Commission prior their scheduled hearings. Detailed instructions will be linked from our home page https://www.wcc.state.md.us to help with the transition.
25 Revised Form – Settlement Worksheet (H-28R 08/2020) - This form is revised and available as a fillable PDF form on the Commission Forms and Instructions page. The form has been revised to clarify the required information that must be completed for review and approval of a settlement. All questions must be answered. Any incomplete or missing information will cause the Settlement Worksheet to be returned and the approval of the settlement will be delayed. The Commission does not accept form filing via email/attachment or fax. Please begin using the new form immediately
