Our new Online Employee Claim is here! |
15 |
We will soon be rolling out our new Electronic Employee
Claim form (C1) process that can be fully completed
online. New features include the ability to start an
electronic claim, save it and return at a later time to
complete and submit.
The new application allows a
claimant to sign the form with a mouse or finger/stylus
on a touch-enabled device. Attorneys must use their WFMS
Online Services subscription to access the C1 and will
have the option to send the notification email to the
client to sign electronically or may print the
authorization and send it to the client for signature
and upload to the electronic form. The attorney’s
appearance is automatically entered with the electronic
submission by the Attorney/Proxy via Online Services.
Any questions should be directed to the Public
Service Department at
[email protected] or by calling (410)864-5100;
Outside Baltimore Metro Area Toll Free: 1 (800)

Settlement Process clarification - When sending an
addendum or documents for a settlement that has been
requested by a Commissioner such as medical notes,
do not send another
copy of the settlement. The addendum should be
sent to the attention of the Commissioner with a cover
letter.

Corrected C30 (Notice of Claim) Enhancements: For
convenience, amendments to a claim involving the
addition of body part(s) will now be reflected in bold
on the Corrected C30 that is issued by the Commission.
This change also applies to a change to the date of
accident/occupational disease. |
