New Form – Insurer’s
Termination of Medical Benefits WCC form C-10 (07/2015).
Pursuant to COMAR 14.09.06.04 C, Insurers are required
to provide written notification to the claimant and
health care provider (s) prior to the termination of
medical benefits. The new form is available
for
electronic filing through the WFMS system and on our
Forms and Instructions page. Please begin using the
new form immediately. |

REMINDER: For
services provided on or after October 1, 2015, Medicare
requires that healthcare providers must use valid ICD-10
Codes. The transition to ICD-10 is required for everyone
covered by the Health Insurance Portability
Accountability Act (HIPAA). Please note, the change to
ICD-10 does not affect CPT coding for outpatient
procedures and physician services. The Commission
encourages healthcare providers and payers to engage in
a dialogue as to implementation timeframes. For
